Research Interests

My research interests focus on the emergent quantum states in strongly-correlated electron systems(SCES) and current research areas include: (1) experimental characterizations of SCES, especially heavy-fermion materials, under extreme conditions such as low temperature, high pressure and magnetic field.  The fundamental methods can be electrical resistivity, ac calorimetry and magnetic susceptibility with the major goal to investigate their phase diagram, quantum criticality and emergent superconductivity; (2) Point-contact spectroscopic (PCS) studies on superconductors to probe the superconducting gap and order parameter symmetries.
